1. Itโs easy being green

2. Small and mighty and midcentury
The owner of this Parisian apartment envisaged a kitchen in natural walnut that would open to her living room, transforming the 52-square-metre space into a cocoon for her family. The pedestals, drawers and hardware are from IKEA. Here, modern furnitureโs been expertly mixed with antiques such as the Tulip table designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll, which separates the kitchen and living room and is used as a second work surface every day.
3. All the alpine feels

IKEA provided the carcass for this kitchen joinery, while the tinted-oak facades were made to measure by another supplier. The owners of the heritage apartment in Paris wanted โholiday at homeโ vibes โ definitely embodied by the bird-like pendants flying above the island bench.
